What Comes Standard?
Below are the features that come standard with each rebind. You can view what we do to ensure that your bible will last for years to come, as well the types of leather we offer. We also offer extras which you can view here.

Choice of Cover Leather
View our leathers. We offer Siegel River Grain and Smooth Historical Goatskin cover leather in Black and Mocha Brown. The liner is made from a black cowhide leather. We are able to do other colors and leathers, but extra costs will apply. Please let us know when inquiring about a different color or leather to receive a quote.
Full, Half, or Short Yapp
Yapp binding is a style of bookbinding that involves a cover that overlaps the top, bottom, and front edges of the bible's text block. Historically, yapps were used to protect the pages of the bible. You can choose between a short yapp (1/4"), generous yapp (1/2"), and full yapp (width of the bible's spine).

Tooled Hubs
Tooled Hubs are indented lines tooled into the spine of the bible. These imitate the appearance of raised hubs and give the spine more flexibility. These come standard with each Pisgah Rebind, but you can ask to have no tooled hubs for no extra charge.

Edge-lined Binding
Edge-lined binding is typically used in premium editions. Instead of having a "paste down" construction, it has a leather liner that directly connects to the text-block. This makes the cover extremely limp, flexible, and durable. We currently offer black cowhide liners. "HE IS RISEN" and "GOATSKIN LEATHER" is stamped on the liner.

Spine Reinforcement
Under many bible covers there are poorly reinforced spines. This causes pages to fall out and covers to come off. When we reinforce the spine we remove the old spine reinforcement and replaces it with new material that will last for years to come. Each bible rebind will have an oxford hollow to ease the tension on the spine as it gets used.

Bible Embossing
Our standard spine embossing comes with the words "Holy Bible" on both the spine and front cover and the translation of your bible. We also include a blind stamp with our company's name "Pisgah" on every bible rebind unless asked not to. You can choose between silver, gold, or blind embossing.
